About Us
Pata Lifestyle is more than just exquisite handmade bags - it is a mission to end breast cancer in Argentina. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each bag is used for early breast cancer detection of women in need in Argentina.
As an avid polo player, I began visiting Argentina regularly. Argentina, and its people, left a lasting impression. The quality materials, skilled workmanship, and impeccable design in their products truly captivated me and led me to establish quite an Argentine handbag and belt collection. Returning home to Texas, friends and strangers alike would complement my exquisite handbags.
So I put together a passionate cause with an exceptional product. I believe that Argentine handbags can, and should, help lift Argentine women.
We Make Impact
This is what Pata Lifestyle is about: helping women, help women.
Sylvia Kampshoff, Founder.
The Project
Breast cancer has touched my life in many ways. It was discovered in both my mother and mother-in-law and was responsible for the death of a dear friend’s mother. For this and other reasons, I have been compelled to do what I can to reduce breast cancer’s death toll. When I discovered how horrific the numbers are in Argentina - Argentine women suffer the second-highest breast cancer fatality rate in the world - I knew I could make the most impact for women there. Pata has given me an opportunity to help women and their families live longer, healthier lives.
Our First Donation
Thanks to the help of our customers we are so happy that we were able to make our first donations of Mammograms and Ultrasounds to the University Hospital Austral in Pilar. We had a very emotional day in Pilar and also were blessed to get the chance to meet with some of the women who already received our donated Mammograms and Ultrasounds at Posta Sanitaria Las Lilas in Pilar, Argentina.
